Expérience immersive : Der Wald - La Forêt - The Forest
In the vibrant heart of Strasbourg, where stone tells the story of centuries of history, a forest has sprung up. Nestling at the foot of the Cathedral, this unique installation invites you to relax and discover a rich summer programme.
From 5 July to 31 August, the experience on offer is an immersive journey in which the forest is more than just a backdrop. It offers a unique adventure. Its trees stand like totems, reminding us of the need to breathe, to find refuge in the shade and coolness.
As the summer progresses, the forest becomes the setting for a number of major events. These vibrant moments bring all audiences together in the same energy. Designed as enchanted interludes, these highlights of music, dance and other activities transform the space into a place of artistic expression and encounters. Let yourself be carried away by the moment.
Light shows on the Cathedral
Come and rediscover and contemplate the Cathedral in a unique way, thanks to the lighting created by light designer Daniel Knipper, accompanied by a soundtrack.
The illuminated west facade reveals details of Strasbourg's most emblematic monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that are invisible during the day.
Admire the sculptures, gargoyles, chimeras and detailed architecture of this imposing stone vessel in the heart of the city.
